Alain Ducasse Entreprise and InterContinental Hong Kong are to open Rech by Alain Ducasse within the former SPOON restaurant space which will be newly renovated.
SPOON by Alain Ducasse, which opened in 2003, will have its last night of service on January 1, 2017.
One of the most famous seafood restaurants in Paris, Rech will make its international debut at InterContinental Hong Kong in mid-February 2017.
Rech was created in 1925 by Adrien Rech and taken over by Alain Ducasse in 2007. Rech by Alain Ducasse at InterContinental Hong Kong will be its first restaurant outside France.
Chef Stephane Gortina, who has worked with Alain Ducasse for over 11 years at a diverse selection of his global restaurants will continue leading the kitchen. He will collaborate with Alain Ducasse on the menu. Marie Deroudilhe, who revamped the Parisian Rech restaurant in 2012, will be in charge of design.
