Elza Artiaga is appointed resort manager at the Outrigger Konotta Maldives Resort, reporting to general manager Pascal Billon.
Before joining Outrigger, Artiaga was general manager of the Coco Palm, a 4.5-star resort in the Maldives. Prior to that she was executive assistant manager at the 82-suite Carlisle Bay Resort in Antigua in the Caribbean.
She also spent 12 years with Ritz Carlton in Miami and Chicago in positions including front office manager and director of rooms division, rising to EAM of the Ritz Carlton Hotel and Resort Palm Beach, a 5-star hotel with 310 guest rooms.
