Marbella, Spain – 22 October 2016
Frank M. Pfaller had a brilliant idea: The internationally experienced Tophotelier now founded the “Hospitality Hall of Fame” to honour outstanding individuals, who have decisively shaped the industry. The venerable selection includes monumental hoteliers like César Ritz, Conrad Hilton and Hans Badrutt as well as living legends like Bill Marriott jr. and Philippe Starck.
The Hall of Fame was established in the Villa Padierna in Marbella – with artistic portrait paintings. It has just been officially opened with the presentation of the “Seven Stars Awards”.
The board, the leading committee of the “The International Hospitality Hall of Fame” (TIHHF), includes initiator Pfaller, Duncan Palmer (Marco Polo Hotel Group, Hongkong), Lindsay Ueberroth (Preferred Hotels) und Ingo C. Peters (Fairmont Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten Hamburg). The new organisation is also meant to honour outstanding individuals for their exceptional achievements and their work in the luxury hotel industry in the future.
