The Statler Hotel on the Cornell University campus promotes Thomas Gisler to director of food and beverage. He had served as executive chef of the Statler since 2005.
Gisler’s international career started at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress in Orlando, Florida, continuing at the Hyatt Regency South Korea, the Grand Hyatt in Japan, and the Hyatt Regency in Cologne, where he was executive chef.
Prior to joining the Statler, he was the executive chef at the Otesaga Resort in Cooperstown.
