Japanese hotelier Fujita Kanko plans to open a 248-room hotel in Taipei in 2019.
It will be Fujita Kanko’s second overseas hotel, with a property in Seoul is expected to open in 2018.
“Globalisation is a new chapter for Fujita Kanko, building on our 60 years of hospitality experience in Japan,” said president and CEO Akira Segawa.
“We expect our strongest growth from Asian tourists, and entering the Taiwanese market is a top priority for us. It will also help build visibility for our brands among Taiwanese.”
