The Radisson Blu São Paulo represents a key opening for the brand.
“We are very excited by the momentum of Radisson Blu in Latin America with our second hotel opening in the Americas in the first quarter of 2016,” said Javier Rosenberg, chief operating officer, Americas, Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group.
“The addition of this hotel in São Paulo establishes Radisson Blu in another key, global gateway city and further strengthens the brand’s international portfolio of upper-upscale hotels.”
The brand’s recent expansion into Latin America includes the opening of the Radisson Blu Belo Horizonte in Brazil earlier this month and the Radisson Blu Santiago, La Dehesa in Chile coming in Q2 2016.
The 199-key Radisson Blu São Paulo is operated by Atlantica Hotels International, Carlson Rezidor’s long-standing partner in Brazil.
“We see such a tremendous opportunity for further growth of Radisson Blu in strategic locations throughout Brazil by leveraging the strong global appeal the brand has as the leader in Europe, a top feeder market into cities like São Paulo,” said Paul Sistare, founder and chief executive officer of Atlantica Hotels International.
