Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts will open Banyan Tree Tamouda Bay on September 1, the first Banyan Tree property on the Mediterranean coast, and the first all-pool villa resort in Morocco.
Located on the northeast coast of Morocco in Tamouda Bay, the resort is a 20-minute drive from the city of Tetouan, and international visitors can arrive via Casablanca, Rabat and Tangier.
A tribute to the rich cultural heritage of the region, Banyan Tree Tamouda Bay will feature arched doorways, clean lines, earth tones and intricate Moroccan moucharaby wood panels.
Banyan Tree Tamouda Bay will offer 92 of the largest resort villas in Morocco, each with a garden and private pool. Many offer direct access to the beach and all feature classic Moroccan-style architecture and decor.
