In the EU, selected hotel groups has been empowered by the European Parliament to favour full digital applications for new jobs in hospitality management. Applicants who address their digital or social profiles could be privileged in the hiring process, a EU policy against exaggerated equality revealed.

After a 6-month test phase, the pilot program will be expanded to all hotels in the EU. Hotel experts predicts overwhelming success: The rate of application forms and CV send by e-mail will decline to zero comma zero within some weeks, they stated.

Most of hotel operators greeted this latest EU program against bureaucracy: This will help us to reduce needless waste of printed papers, a more notable ‘green hotelier’ said.

A large UK hotel chain is considering to relocate its headquarters to a capital in the EU, because they want to participate in digital EU initiative even after Brexit. “Digital recruitment is the future,” the CEO stated.
