Carlson Hotels hires Federico González Tejera as CEO – Ramón Aragonés to lead NH Hotels

Madrid/Brussels – 25 January 2017
Former CEO of NH Hotels, Federico González Tejera, is up from February, 1st the big leader of Carlson Hotels. He will succeed David Berg who will leave the company following a brief transition period. As new CEO of NH Hotels, Ramón Aragonés has been named.

Federico González Tejera is the former Chief Executive Officer of NH Hotel Group, where he developed and executed a Five-Year-Plan that helped significantly transform the company’s brand position and renovation strategy and increase profitability. He previously was a senior executive at Disneyland Paris, most recently serving as Deputy General Manager. Prior to that, he worked at Procter & Gamble in Madrid, Brussels, and Stockholm, and served as Country Head of Portugal. He majored in Economics at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and received a Masters of International Trade and Finance from the École Supériore de Commerce de Paris.

Ramón Aragonés has been working at NH Hotel Group, where he has served as Executive Director of Business and Operations, Managing Director of Operations and Director of Operations for the Spain, Portugal and Andorra Business Unit, for eight years. Prior to joining the Group, he worked as General Manager and Director of Operations at Hesperia hotel chain. Before that he was a hotel manager in Spain, Belgium and Venezuela for ten years, as well as Commercial Director at Stab Hotel.
