New spokespersons for Accor Hotels Central Europe: Sybille Milka-Böhm and Anne Wahl – Eike Kraft to left

Munich, Germany – 18 September 2017 –
Eike Alexander Kraft, Vice President Corporate Communications & Social Responsibility responsible for Germany and Central Europe, leaves AccorHotels after five years to take on a brand new challenge. In recent months, Kraft and Marketing Director Sybille Milka-Böhm have been working together to unite marketing and corporate communications into an incorporated 360-degree communications strategy with a focus on content marketing and storytelling. Effective immediately, Sybille Milka-Böhm will assume sole responsibility for its newly created Marketing & Communications branch. Anne Wahl, that has been responsible for the PR of AccorHotels and its own brands for several months, will take on the use of spokeswoman for the company with direct reporting to the management with immediate effect.

After five eventful and successful decades, Eike Kraft successfully followed the transformation and repositioning of AccorHotels in Germany and Central Europe during the previous five years since spokesperson and head of communicating. The innovative 360-degree method of a newsroom, where Kraft merged all communication capabilities with a newly established central electronic media group, also had an impact beyond the industry. Eike Kraft was brought to the hotel business by Michael Mücke, then head of Germany at the time, in 2012. After his death in 2015, Eike Kraft worked directly for the CEO of Central and Eastern Europe, Laurent Picheral, and after his additional advancement on the Face of the newly founded company AccorInvest because mid-2017 for its COO Trio at Central Europe, Daniela Schade, Volkmar Pfaff and Fabien Valentin.

Eike Kraft says concerning his death: “I phone Au Revoir a wonderful industry and an interesting AccorHotels family that’s increased close to my heart. In five eventful and short-lived decades, we have brought much forward together. Last but not least, this lets me take my next professional step. I want to thank the many terrific people and characters whom I met and who’ve affirmed, accompanied and shaped me. Most importantly, I would like to thank my fantastic team and my bosses, who have always given me their full support and made it possible for me to realize my thoughts and also our joint successes in the first location.”
