Fairmont Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten Hamburg

Hamburg, Germany – 15 September 2017 –
The Fairmont Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten welcomes a true Northern Lights at the Binnenalster: Robert Kmita! Born in Denmark, he was Director of Operations and Deputy Director of Hotel Director Ingo C. Peters since September 11. „He conveys the resort industry in his heart and has proven his proficiency many times around the world,” said Peters.

In 1997 he began his hotel career in the St. James Court Hotel in London, completed his studies in the Swiss Hotel Management School at Marbella and acquired practical experience at Hyatt Hotels & Resorts at Adelaide, Mainz, Warsaw, Dubai and Sharm El Sheik. As Manager of Food & Beverage, he went to Asia once more – into the Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok. His specialist trip around the world accepted him to Park Hyatt at Buenos Aires at the start of 2016, at which he held the position of Director of Operations.

For Robert Kmita, the new challenge is a circle that closes with all the newest challenge: “I’m very much looking forward to becoming a member of this Four Seasons Team and returning to my Nordic roots following 18 years. After my initial meeting with Mr Peters and the HR director Claudia Krüger, I already had an idea that this was the beginning of something fresh. My trip to the resort shortly later confirmed this feeling – Hamburg along with the Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten was to become my new home. I’m impressed with the history and heritage of the home. Above all, however, I was taken with hotel founder Friedrich Haerlin, who once told his wife: ‘It is just like being at home with us. As soon as we invite guests, everything is clean and nice, the table is put, it’s well and sufficiently cooked and we’ve dressed neatly and look forward to our guests.'”
