The newly acquired portfolio will join the Leonardo Hotels family and will be integrated into the wider Leonardo portfolio, which will comprise over 80 hotels after the recent acquisition.

Leonardo Hotels expands its portfolio to a new destination: Granada, Andalusia
With the purchase of the Vincci Granada and its reopening as Leonardo Hotel Granada, the hotel group now has its first location in the popular Spanish tourist region of Andalusia. This brings up a total of six hotels belonging to the Leonardo Hotels in Spain. Granada is especially popular with tourists because of its many historical sites and monuments and it is also an important industrial center. The takeover represents yet another step in the Leonardo Hotel’s European expansion that reinforces its presence in the Spanish market.
The location in the heart of the city, close to the main railway station, makes the 4-star hotel extremely attractive: Tourist sights such as the Alhambra or the Albayzin Moorish Quarter are easily accessible from the hotel. Most of the 176 rooms also have a fabulous view of the Sierra Nevada. The hotel has two conference rooms with space for up to 100 people.
Leonardo Hotels builds the first hotel in Mestre/Venice
Leonardo Hotels expands its presence in Italy: In addition to the already successful NYX Milan and Leonardo Hotel Milan City Center, located in the heart of Milan, a second attractive destination in Mestre/Venice will come along in summer of 2019. We are talking about a newly designed hotel with 243 rooms, a restaurant and a bar area along with modern meeting rooms and an inviting terrace. The hotel group has commissioned the construction to MTK Maria Theresien Kapitalverwaltung.
Leonardo Hotels opens first “Royal Hotel” in Edinburgh
Euro-cool specialists Leonardo Hotels has chosen Edinburgh as the location for its first property opening in Scotland. The Berlin-based company, one of Europe’s fastest growing hotel groups, has invested more than Euros 7m+ in the complete refurbishment of the former Premier Inn in Edinburgh’s Haymarket district. The design of the new hotel – which offers 4-star superior accommodation – was created by acclaimed interior designer Andreas Neudahm and continues the Leonardo Hotels’ philosophy of developing non-standardised hotels that have their own distinct regional character. Each of the 282 renovated bedrooms will feature iconic panorama images of the Edinburgh skyline as well as stylish Scottish-themed furnishings, while the lobby and bar/restaurant areas offer sophisticated and boutique-style glamour.
