ATLANTA, Oct. 29, 2008 – Delta Air Lines, Inc. (NYSE: DAL) and Northwest Airlines, Inc. today merged, creating a premier global airline with service to nearly all of the world’s major travel markets.
Edward Bastian, Delta’s President and CFO, and CEO and President of NWA will be at the airports in Atlanta and Minneapolis, respectively, to discuss what the merger closing means for customers, employees and the communities served by Delta and Northwest.
