Britain?s pubs risk losing up to ?20,000 a week if they fail to keep up with demand as a beer drought threatens to derail summer celebrations, warns business cash advance provider Boostcapital.co.uk

An action-packed summer of sport and hot weather is set to tempt the British public to stay home and go out for street parties, BBQs and to beer gardens. However, financiers at business cash advance provider, Boost Capital, are concerned that many pubs will struggle to stock up to meet???demand unless action is taken now to ensure that supplies are at optimal levels.

English football fans drank on average 17 pints each at FIFA World Cup 2006 in Germany as local breweries were reported to have called in emergency supplies of beer. During FIFA World Cup 2010, over 200mpints of beer were drunk in the UK as fans packed into fan parks and pubs to watch the action.

With fears of high roaming costs, racism, language issues, and against a tough economic backdrop, the bulk of England?s barmy army is expected to stay at home rather than take the trip to Ukraine for the tournament. Reports indicate that only 3,000 tickets have been sold to England fans for the match against Ukraine in Donetsk. Coupled with the Olympics and Jubilee celebrations, the nation?s pubs are on destined for a record summer season.

Boost Capital enables businesses to use their future credit and debit card sales to access?unsecured funding that they need to invest in new equipment, stock, marketing, remodelling, expansion and other business demands. Business owners who accept credit and debit cards as a form of payment can qualify for ?5,000 to ?500,000 in 24 hours and receive funds in as little as five days.

David Abbott, UK managing director of Boost Capital, said: ?Since we launched in early May we have received a flood of enquiries from pubs and other small businesses concerned about funding to secure stock in anticipation of a busy summer that is packed with sporting and cultural events. With many pubs struggling financially in recent years, this summers sporting planetary alignment could not have come at a better time to boost sales.

?If pubs want to fully capitalise on England fans staying in the UK, and our nation?s affinity for BBQs and street parties this summer, we urge them to take action now and ensure that they have ordered enough stock to cope with demand. Without sufficient preparation, they risk losing out on vital revenues.?
