The national tourist board VisitEngland have launched a brand new website designed specifically to meet the?needs of the industry. The new site, which can be found at ?www.visitengland.org?provides the industry with research and statistics a new media centre with all the latest news, feature ideas, itinerary suggestions, images and video,? as well as the latest in marketing opportunities, and updates on England?s national tourism strategy.
Specialist tools designed by VisitEngland to support business development in specific areas such as sustainability and accessibility are also easy to find on the website and can be used by any business wanting to improve in these important areas. New to the site is the inclusion of specific areas for partnership groups like the Partners for England forum and the English Tourism Intelligence Partnerships.?

The website is the first in a suite of communication tools to be launched by the tourist board with new industry newsletters and a CRM System (Customer Relationship Management) being put in place early the year.?
