Luxury hospitality developer and operator Banyan Tree Hotels and Resorts announces that to date, the group has garnered 844 awards and accolades since flagship resort Banyan Tree Phuket opened in 1994. Thus far for Q1 and Q2 2012, 64 unique awards have been bestowed on the group.
?The year began on a winning note with Travel + Leisure magazine anointing Banyan Tree Bangkok one of the 500 Best Hotels in the World, along with Cond? Banyan Tree Macau received an accolade as the Best New Hotel in China as part of Cond? Nast Traveller UK?s ?Hot List 2012.?
Banyan Tree?s spa practice is widely known as a pioneer in the wellness field, ushering in the open-air Asian garden spa concept, and developing many signature treatments at the group?s Banyan Tree Spa Academies in Phuket, Thailand; Lijiang, China and Bintan, Indonesia.
