Marco Started As An International Intern From England In 2004
White Lodging Services is pleased to announce Tony Marco has been promoted to general manager of the Hampton Inn Chicago Midway in Bedford Park, Illinois.
“I am delighted to return to the Hampton Inn Chicago Midway in the role of General Manager,” said Marco. “I am re-joining a great team and together we are looking forward to achieving great success together.”
Previously, Marco was the General Manager at the Sleep Inn, right next door. He has been dedicated to the Midway Hotel Center since 2004, where he started at the Holiday Inn Select as an international intern from the University of Sunderland in England.
This will be Marco’s second time at the Hampton Inn Chicago Midway. From 2007-2008, Marco served at the operations manager for the property, and for two months of his time acted as the stand in general manager.
Marco’s goals for his new position include being recognized as a top -performing Hampton Inn for service and cleanliness. Personally, Marco’s goals also include watching and celebrating a Chicago Cubs World Series win.
