Project 1: Helping Abused Neglected Disadvantaged Youth (HANDY), Fort Lauderdale, FL
Serving more than 1,000 abused, neglected and disadvantaged youth, ranging in age from birth to 23 the main one story building is in desperate need of rehabilitation. Although the structure of the building is sound, the interior is very dated and is in need of upgrades and renovations throughout. Project 2: Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services (SFBFS), Sacramento, CA

To move families toward self-sufficiency, grocery items such as dairy, meat, vegetables and fruit are distributed instead of hot meals. In an effort to combat many of the health ailments facing families in their community, SFBFS also partners with agencies to provide health screenings such as blood pressure, blood glucose tests and cholesterol screenings at each food distribution.
Project 3: Urban Underground, Milwaukee, WI
Since its inception, Urban Underground has been nationally recognized for its efforts to provide youth and teens with critical opportunities to develop life-skills through youth-led community engagement efforts. Their mission is to promote a new generation of young leaders committed to building safe and sustainable communities. Since 2005, Urban Underground has built a full recording studio, art lab, training center, community meeting space, replaced the roof and boiler, but they still have a long way to go to make critical improvements to their facility.
