Americas Best Value Inn Continues Impressive Growth with Addition of 134 Hotels in 2010

(CLEVELAND, January 17, 2011) ? Americas Best Value Inn?, the ninth-largest limited-service hotel chain in the country, maintained its strong growth during difficult economic times by enjoying a banner year in 2010 with the addition of 134 properties to the system. Throughout North America, hotel owners continue to embrace ABVI?s innovative model that allows them to be in business for themselves, not by themselves.

Americas Best Value Inn and Canadas Best Value Inn? expanded in 39 states and two provinces. Missouri led the way with 13 new properties, followed by 12 apiece in California and Texas, nine in Florida and seven in Minnesota.

All told, ABVI?s and CBVI?s 134 new inns, hotels and suites included conversions from such major brands as Best Western?, Days Inn?, Microtel Inns & Suites?, Clarion?, Holiday Inn Express?, Ramada?, Quality Inn?, Howard Johnson? and Comfort Inn?, as well as dozens of independent properties.

An economy, limited-service brand, ABVI operates under its Freestyle? brand model, which allows hotel owners to pay low, flat, monthly fees based on number of rooms ? not a percentage of revenue as do other national hotel brands that typically charge fees that are three to five times higher than ABVI?s. Owners also have short-term contracts, a voice and a vote in the direction of the brand, and the one-of-a-kind 100% Return On Investment Promise.
