Starbucks Response to California Company Voluntary Product Recall

On Friday, August 31, 2012, we learned that Ready Pac Foods, Inc., an Irwindale, Calif. company, and one of our suppliers, is voluntarily recalling an ingredient (mango) included in a product delivered to Starbucks retail stores due to potential health concerns. There have been no reports of illnesses associated with consumption of this product.

The product containing the ingredient subject to recall was the Starbucks Seasonal Harvest Fruit Blend.

Impacted product was sold in:

AK, AZ, AR, CA, CO, ID, MT, ND, NM, NV, OK, OR, SD, TX, UT, WA, WY with ?Enjoy by? dates of 9/4/2012 and 9/5/2012

AL, CT, DC, DE, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, KY, KS, LA, NA, MD, ME, MI, MN, MO, MS, NC, NE, NH, NJ, NY, OH, PA, RI, SC, TN, VA, VT, WI, WV with ?Enjoy by? dates between 8/22/2012 ? 9/7/2012

The recalled product is no longer available in our stores.
