Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group, one of the world?s largest and most dynamic hotel groups, today announced the appointment of Joy Linsday as vice president, Human Resources, Americas, effective September 24. She will report to Thorsten Kirschke, president, Americas. In her new position, Linsday will lead the Human Resources function for Carlson Rezidor?s business in the Americas.

Her global experience, and skill in bringing diverse teams together for the collective pursuit of business goals, will be especially beneficial to us.?
One of Linsday?s key responsibilities will be to develop and implement a comprehensive, three-year human resources strategy to support Ambition 2015 as it pertains to Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group, Americas. This will include talent management programs, succession and development planning, and reward and recognition plans that are aligned and consistent with company strategy.
Linsday joins Carlson Rezidor from Creative Memories, a $120 million global, direct-selling company in St. Cloud, Minn., where she was executive vice president of Global Human Resources and Learning. Her prior experience includes positions as head of Global Human Capital for Deephaven Capital Management; vice president of Human Resources for Ameriprise Financial, Inc; senior Human Capital partner for UnitedHealth Group; vice president of Employer Solutions for Wachovia Insurance Services; and director, Human Resources Operations for Gevity, a professional employer organization in Florida.
Linsday earned a Bachelor of Science degree in management from the University of South Florida and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Tampa.
