Ali?s pub, Wetherspoons in Milton Keynes, was voted Pub of the Season for summer 2012, by the members of Milton Keynes and North Bucks CAMRA.

Ali said: ?There is a lot of competition in the area, so we are delighted to have been selected as the winner for this summer by our local branch members.?

Phil Swinbank, chairman for MK CAMRA, said: ?Pub of the Season is an award that we, as the local CAMRA branch, give to a pub that has gone the extra mile to promote real ale in the Milton Keynes and North Bucks area.

?Ali and his team have done a fantastic job at that, serving a great range of ales at all times. There are usually beers from local microbreweries, and that?s something we like to encourage too.?
