Adrian Messerli Appointed Director of Food and Beverage at Four Seasons Resort Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt.

Sebastien Carre, general manager of Four Seasons Resort Sharm El Sheikh announces the recent appointment of Adrian Messerli as Director of Food and Beverage.

Adrian grew his passion for the hospitality industry in his family’s hotel in the Swiss Alps. After completing a culinary apprenticeship Adrian followed his roots in the hotel industry and graduated from the Ecole h?teli?re de Lausanne.

Following graduation, he joined Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts and became a citizen of the world, working his way up various food and beverage division management assignments with Four Seasons in Chicago, USA; Great Exuma in the Bahamas; and Carmelo, Uruguay. More recently, before joining Four Seasons Resort Sharm El Sheikh, Adrian served as Food and Beverage Director of Four Seasons Hotel Ritz Lisbon in Portugal. His passion for fine culinary experiences and wines is not only limited to his work environment; Adrian is also active member of the Cha?ne des R?tisseurs, and a big supporter and founding member of the a culinary school in Evora to grow culinary and service talent for young adults in need.

Commenting on Messerli’s appointment, Carre says: “Adrian’s passion for hospitality, and established international experience in food and beverage with Four Seasons, will undoubtedly strengthen our Resort’s talented team. Beyond his fluency in five languages, Adrian’s exposure to numerous culinary cultures in Europe and North and South America will contribute to further diversify Four Seasons Resort Sharm El Sheikh leisure resort experience.”

Describing his new appointment, Messerli says: “My new mission’s goal is to continue the development of the food and beverage division for the Resort, and I am very excited about my new role where I will use all my previous experience and knowledge to the full advantage of Four Seasons brand.?
