The Marriott Foundation for People with Disabilities launched the Bridges…from school to work? program?more than 20 years ago?to reduce the career gap for youth ages 17-22 with mental, physical and cognitive disabilities. Since 1990,?more than?950 local employers have provided employment opportunities for more than 2,400 youth, helping these young people with disabilities succeed in the workplace.? Recently, the program honored Washington, D.C. and Montgomery County, Md. employers, supporters and program participants.? Pictured L to R:?
