One of the truly great things about Sonoma County is that you never know just what sort of views you might come across. This is particularly true for our winemakers during Harvest. They travel from vineyard to vineyard checking on the grapes getting ready to pick grapes as the sugars rise.
The 2012 Harvest is well underway; Sauvignon Blanc and Merlot have been arriving at the winery for a few weeks now. Some of the varietals, like Cabernet Sauvignon, take longer to get the necessary sugar levels to be harvested. This weekend, winemaker Matt Smith was out checking our Jackson Park vineyard when he came across this great view that we wanted to share with you.
