Four Seasons Las Vegas Commissions Locally Owned Foundry for Guest Room Renovation.

New luxury hotel guest room design infuses Las Vegas aesthetic into guest experience.

Four Seasons?Hotel Las Vegas has commissioned a local manufacturing firm to hand-craft custom lighting fixtures and other striking pieces for its Art Deco-inspired?guest room renovation,?slated for completion mid-December.

The locally owned and operated?Gladstone Industries Corporation, located just several miles from the Hotel in Las Vegas, is an architectural metals and custom lighting designer and manufacturer that specializes in one-of-a-kind, handmade functional art pieces made in the United States.

Gladstone?s skilled artisans hand-crafted multiple pieces to compliment the guest rooms? glamorous new design palette, which features bold colours, oversized modern art and sleek, quality-constructed furnishings. Several items were crafted by hand while others were created using innovative high-tech machinery and technology.

?We are proud that we were able to contribute to the local economy and reduce our carbon footprint by having so many of the stunning pieces in our guest rooms manufactured right here in the Las Vegas community,? says?Mark Hellrung,?general manager.?”Four Seasonshotels and resorts reflect a local design aesthetic and strive to make each property unique. Our new guest rooms are a great example of infusing local culture into the guest experience.?

The following items that will be included in the Hotel’s new luxury guest rooms and suites were manufactured locally at Gladstone Industries:

  • Decorative mini-bar towers
  • Various end tables and sofa tables
  • Decorative ?bird?s nest? dining room tables
  • Drinks carts
  • Various floor lamp shades
  • Chanel-inspired entryway and powder room ceiling fixtures
  • Entryway wall sconces
  • Striking chandeliers in the?Hospitality Suites
  • Decorative nickel column wraps in the Hospitality Suites

In addition to these locally produced items,?Four Seasons?Hotel Las Vegas will continue to engage in sustainable practices that conserve natural resources and reduce environmental impact during the renovation. Light bulbs will be replaced with CFL and LED technology; customized lighting in bathroom vanity mirrors, for instance, will have an extended life of seven years. Restyled guest rooms will also be painted with LEED certified paint and meet sustainable construction standards. Old wall vinyl, carpet and carpet pads will be recycled and the newly installed carpeting and pads will be green certified.

With their sophisticated design scheme and innovative user-friendly technology, the luxury Hotel?s new guest rooms echo Las Vegas? excitement and vibrancy in the Art Deco era. Highly polished ribbon mahogany and cream lacquer finishes express intensity and drama while silver leaf and nail head accents add further visual interest. High-contrast polished materials reflect the glittering lights of the iconic Las Vegas Strip. Meanwhile, eclectic, unconventional colour pairings brilliantly compliment oversized pieces of modern art.
