On October 12th, under the auspices of the Ministry of tourism Cairo Cape Town race will be launched from Cairo – Egypt crossing several African countries in a 12000 approximate distance to end up in Cape Town ? South Africa after fifty eight days.
The main objective of the race is to revive the land route between Cairo and Cape Town while creating a link that supports the Egyptian – African relations.
Egyptian Tourism Minister said that this is the first time for an Egyptian travel agency to organize a race which will cross eleven African countries. Through the race festivities Egypt will be the main gate for crossing to the African continent.
