At the airport

At Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport, a team of Air France staff speaking Portuguese and Spanish assist South American customers on departure, arrival and with their connections.

On board

On board, 15,000 Air France flight attendants are trained to take into account the cultural specificities of passengers, notably Brazilian customers. The Company also has close to 500 Portuguese-speaking cabin crew, including over 60 Brazilian crew members to assist customers travelling to Brazil.
Some products are specifically adapted to Brazilian customers, who benefit from the excellence of the French-style service. Onboard announcements are made in Brazilian Portuguese on these routes. Air France also offers its customers a selection of leading Brazilian daily newspapers and weekly magazines. A choice of 300 CDs, including a selection of Latin American tracks, is also available, enabling passengers to compose a customized program. In each cabin, a personal screen enables passengers to watch up to 100 films in 9 languages, including Portuguese and Spanish. A total of 600 hours of programmes are available.

?AF Connect?

When booking their flight, customers benefit from ?AF Connect?, an exclusive service, free of charge, requiring no subscription or registration, which proactively informs them of any changes or irregularities to their tripe. This service is available in 10 languages, including Portuguese-Brazilian and Spanish for South American customers.

Digital press

As a world first in 2013, Air France will offer its customers, wherever they are, free downloads on their personal screen (smartphone or tablet), on the day of their flight, the digital version of newspapers and magazines. They will be able to view and archive the day?s headline news, including a selection from Brazil, on their personal screen to read before, during or after their trip. Digital press is a service Air France will offer in addition to its tradition paper press offering, so as to provide customers with an ever greater choice.
