Franco-Mexican friendship in the spotlight

Air France has been serving Mexico since 1952. Mexico is currently one of the network?s major international destinations for passenger and cargo traffic. 
In addition to the daily flight to Mexico, Air France has been serving Cancun since 2011. This winter, on the strength of this route?s success, the Company is offering a fourth weekly frequency, amounting to a total of 1,900 seats put on sale each week and over 35,000 European tourists carried by Air France to the country of Mayan civilisation this winter. 
On flights to Mexico, Air France is pursuing the modernization of its Boeing 747 with the installation of a new 2 meter-long seat in Business class and the new individual video in Economy class. 
In Mexico, Air France is committed on a daily basis to local initiatives serving the interests of Franco-Mexican relations. Since 1989, the Air France Foundation has been supporting the Ednika charity in the state of Morelos which aims to offer a better future to young people living in the street and exposed to drug abuse and delinquency. Moreover, since 2011, Air France has been supporting two Mexican charities, "Ni?os en Alegria" working to build schools in Acapulco in the state of Guerrero, and "Pi?a Palmera" facilitating the integration of people with disabilities in the state of Oaxaca.
