Update on Sunday 20 January
Despite the disruption caused by the heavy snowfall, Air France?s flight schedule to and from Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Paris-Orly is in line with the forecast announced on 19 January.
At 6pm, Air France had operated:
- almost all its long-haul flights
- a little more than half of its short and medium-haul schedule.
The impact of the snowfall on air operations has caused average delays of over an hour.
Air France teams remain at the disposal of customers to provide them with real-time information in light of this disruption due to the bad weather
Forecast for Monday 21 January
After a night without snowfall, snow is once again expected to fall as from 6am (Paris time) for the entire day in Paris. For this reason, the French Civil Aviation Authority has asked all airlines to renew the preventive measure and reduce their flight schedules to and from the Paris airports by up to 40%.
On 21 January, Air France therefore expects to operate:
- all its long-haul flights
- more than half of its short and medium-haul flights to and from Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Paris-Orly airports.
There may, however, be some last-minute delays and cancellations.
Since the beginning of the adverse weather conditions, Air France staff have sent more than 200,000 e-mail and text messages to customers, asking them to postpone their trip at no extra charge wherever possible.
Air France teams are continuing to do all they can to limit the impact of the snowfall and are at the disposal of customers to inform and assist them.
Furthermore, as road and transport conditions will no doubt continue to be difficult, Air France advises all its customers to leave extra time to get to the airport.
To limit any inconvenience, Air France advises its customers planning to travel on 21 January on a short or medium-haul flight to or from Paris-Orly or Paris-Charles de Gaulle to postpone their trip wherever possible.

- at www.airfrance.com, in the ?Flight schedules? section

- by texting your flight number to 6 3654 (e.g.: AF6250).
– In the case of flight cancellations or delays, Air France has the AF Connect service which informs customers directly on their cell phones, smartphone or by e-mail as long as they have provided their contact information when booking. AF Connect is free of charge and available in 13 languages for all passengers worldwide.
In order to be notified personally by AF Connect, Air France invites its customers to update their contact information (phone and/or e-mail) in their reservation file on the Air France website.
Air France will then be able to inform them personally by SMS or e-mail in case of disruption to their flight.
