Hapag-Lloyd informs about the Cape Town omission due to inclement weather conditions.
We would like to inform you that we have received a notification from the vessel operator MSC, that due to heavy winds and inclement weather conditions in Cape Town, the MSC Texas (FH301A) will be omitting the port of Cape Town.
All import bookings to Cape Town will be routed as follows:
Containers will be discharged at Coega and transferred for transshipment to Cape Town on the MSC Lucia 1243R.
