Economic impact of Air France: 26 billion euros and more than 356,000 jobs in France

These figures are the result of the total of direct, indirect and induced impacts: staff salaries, operating expenses, taxes, airport charges and rents paid by Air France, plus the expenses of passengers carried and those of suppliers.
According to the study, each of the 15 million trips linked to a flight operated by Air France generates expenditure of 1,717 euros on average. The study highlights that the impact of Air France is much higher than that of low-cost regional airlines, estimated at 300 euros per passenger based on studies by the Chambers of Commerce and Industry.
If the Paris region accounts for 44% of induced jobs, the activity of the Company is reflected even in areas that it does not serve, with over 2 billion euros of economic impact and 3,200 induced jobs.
