Saudia gets 9th position in the world

FlightStats, an international website that monitors performance of airlines and airports across the globe, has placed Saudia 9th among world airlines in terms percentage of on-time performance, in its January 2013 report.

The website has published a report on the on-time performance of 35 major airlines around the world for the month. Saudia has been listed second among airlines in the Middle East and the Gulf region.

According to the report, Saudia recorded an on-time performance of 84.87 percent in January 2013.

The report carried by FlightStats contained number of flights that reached on time without any delay and those flights that arrived late, including flights that delayed less than 30 minutes and more than 30 minutes.

FlightStats pointed out that among the total scheduled Saudia flights (13,511), 11,467 arrived on time without any delay, accounting for 84.87 percent of the total.
