Seattle, Wash., Feb. 15, 2011 ? As part of its corporate reorganization following the relocation of Seabourn to Seattle, Holland America Line has promoted Christy Oakland to senior director of reservations, reporting to Tim Murphy, vice president guest services.
A longtime veteran of Holland America Line, Oakland brings her extensive knowledge and experience of leading Holland America Line?s call centers to her key role in the Seabourn transition. She also will ensure the company?s innovative and powerful POLAR platform is adapted for Seabourn reservations.

Oakland joined Holland America in March, 1989 as a reservations sales agent and has held supervisory positions in reservations and key accounts and manager roles for special accounts, reservations and ship services. In 2008, she was promoted to director, reservations.
Oakland lives in the Seattle area with her husband and two teenage daughters.
