Grand City Hotels and Wyndham Hotel Group Strike Strategic Alliance to Brand 43 Hotels

BERLIN (February 20, 2013) ??Grand City Hotels, Germany?s second largest hotel management company has entered into a strategic partnership withWyndham Hotel Group, the world?s largest hotel company with over 7,340 hotels and part of?Wyndham Worldwide Corporation?(NYSE: WYN), to brand 43 hotels and over 5,400 rooms under globally recognized Wyndham Hotel Group brand names.

Under this agreement, a third of the extensive Grand City Hotel portfolio of 120 hotels will be affiliated with Wyndham Hotel Group under the Wyndham Grand? (5 properties), Wyndham? (3 properties), Wyndham Garden? (10 properties), TRYP by WyndhamSM?(17 properties) and Days Inn? (8 properties) flags. ?By 1 March 2013, the first 33 of the 43 selected locations will be rebranded. The remaining hotels will follow over the next two years.
With this deal, Wyndham Hotel Group is not only introducing the Wyndham brand in Germany but is also launching the Wyndham Garden tier in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region (EMEA) and the TRYP by Wyndham brand in Belgium and the Netherlands.

All of the hotels are located in Germany with the exception of two, which will become TRYP by Wyndham properties in Antwerp, Belgium, and in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Wyndham Hotel Group, which currently has 54 properties in Germany, will have 95 in the country once all hotels rebrand. Wyndham Hotel Group will have 43 Ramada?, 26 TRYP by Wyndham, 18 Wyndham and 8 Days Inn hotels in its portfolio in Germany. It will also have a total of five hotels in Belgium and three properties in the Netherlands.
