Los Cabos, Mexico (August 8, 2013)?- Cabo San Lucas based hotel group Solmar Hotels & Resorts recently announced management changes at three of their popular properties – Grand Solmar Land’s End Resort & Spa, Playa Grande Resort & Grand Spa and Hotel Quinta del Sol. Rodrigo Gutierrez, Flora Camacho and Juan Carlos Mil?n, respectively, assume positions as new General Managers effective immediately.
With over ten years of experience in the hospitality management industry, Rodrigo Gutierrez is an invaluable asset in his new position as General Managers at Grand Solmar Land’s End Resort & Spa. Prior to his new role, Gutierrez served as the General Manager of Playa Grande Resort & Grand Spa and The Ridge Luxury Villas at Playa Grande. He plans on utilizing his outstanding leadership, strategic planning, and exceptional service skills to enrich the development of Grand Solmar Land’s End Resort & Spa in an effort to make it an unparalleled five-star property in Cabo San Lucas.
Flora Camacho brings 20 years of experience in the domestic and international hospitality industry to her new position as General Manager of the 358-suite Playa Grande Resort & Grand Spa and The Ridge at Playa Grande. Previously serving as the Room Division Manager at the property, her new responsibilities include management of all daily operations. Angel Benavides will join Camacho at Playa Grande and succeed her as the property’s new Room Division Manager. Benavides plans on partnering with Camacho to provide outstanding management and service to the award-winning property.
With a sincere dedication and passion for the Solmar brand, Juan Carlos Mil?n is eager to join Hotel Quinta del Sol by Solmar as the new General Manager. Prior to Mil?n’s new role, he served as the on duty Manager at Playa Grande Resort & Grand Spa since February 2007. His experience in the hospitality industry will be instrumental in strengthening the business-oriented property.
