Las Vegas, NV (KTNV)?— Add The D Hotel and Casino to the list of resorts who are charging fees for their facilities downtown.
The Plaza started the trend with a $10 fee last year.
Then last month, the Golden Nugget charged patrons $5 for their downtown destination fee.
Now, The D and the Golden Gate Casino are charging a $20 a night fee, beginning Aug. 19.
CEO Derek Stevens said it’s no reason to panic. He said the cost is off-set by lower room rates and discounted tickets to their showroom performances and Wi-Fi access.
