CONSHOHOCKEN, PA (August 16, 2013)?— Derrick Blount has been appointed as Sales Manager for the 137-room?Residence Inn by Marriott located in Conshohocken, PA. As the hotel’s Sales Manager, Blount is responsible for soliciting new accounts and growing existing client relationships, with an emphasis on corporate and group business for the hotel. The Residence Inn Marriott Conshohocken is managed by Waterford Hotel Group, a national hotel and convention center management firm.
With more than ten years of sales experience, Blount joins the Conshohocken team from his most recent position as Assistant General Manager and Sales Manager for the StayBridge Suites in North Wales, PA. His previous hospitality experience also includes his roles as Sales Manager, Assistant General Manager and eventually Director of Sales for the Hampton Inn & Suites in Oaks, PA.
