River City Casino & Hotel in South St. Louis County?has completed an $82 million expansion that includes a 200-room hotel, 1,600-space parking garage and 14,000-square-foot event center. The expansion created 350 construction jobs and 100 permanent jobs.
Located on the Mississippi River, the seven-story hotel has 193 guest rooms, six two-bay suites and a luxurious Presidential suite. All first-floor guest rooms feature garden patios with outdoor furniture. Other amenities include LED TVs, iPod docking stations, televisions in the bathroom mirrors, rain showers, high-speed wireless Internet, Keurig coffee machines, a fitness room and decor that showcases artwork by Missouri artists.
