The Woodlands (Houston), Texas, October 14, 2013?- Benchmark Hospitality International?, a leading U.S.-based hospitality management company, has named Andrew (Andy) Finn vice president, group sales. Ted Davis, chief marketing officer, made the announcement. Mr. Finn will be based in Benchmark’s Home Office in The Woodlands, Texas, near Houston.
“It is a pleasure to welcome Andy to Benchmark Hospitality International,” said Mr. Davis. “He is the first to serve in this new position, and comes extremely well qualified to further develop and grow Benchmark’s relationships and business volume within the group meetings market.”
Andy Finn brings vast senior-level leadership experience to his new position at Benchmark Hospitality, gained at independent resorts and within major hospitality brands where he worked for properties in locations across the country. He comes armed with extensive knowledge of and business contacts within the group market, which will be vital to his new role with the company. Previous to joining Benchmark, Mr. Finn served as vice president, sales & marketing for Canyons Resort in Park City, Utah.
Mr. Finn is a graduate of Florida International University where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel and Motel Management. He and his family are relocating to The Woodlands.
