A 17-year veteran of Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Michel Volk?s hospitality career has traversed the globe.

Volk brings a passion for travel and guest service that has led his career through some of the best hotels in the world. ?Our goal is to create exceptional experiences for each guest. And that begins with the feeling guests have from the moment they arrive ? that they don?t have to worry about a thing.?

Previously, Volk acted as Hotel Manager at the acclaimed Four Seasons Hotel Boston. Before his time in Boston, Volk opened Four Seasons Resort Vail as Resort Manager, and served as Hotel Manager at Four Seasons Tented Camp, in the Golden Triangle of Thailand. Volk?s career has led him to Four Seasons destinations in London, Philadelphia, Berlin, Paris and Provence. Prior to joining Four Seasons, Volk spent time at two luxury properties in Massachusetts: the Chatham Bars Inn on Cape Cod and the Wheatleigh Manor Hotel in Lenox.

A Luxembourgian by birth, Volk is a graduate of the Lyc?e Technique H?telier Alexis Heck in Diekirch, Luxembourg and the famed ?cole h?teli?re de Lausanne in Switzerland. An avid traveller, Volk has completed 11 safaris in South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, Malawi, Tanzania, Ghana and Madagascar.

Now in Bora Bora, Volk is thrilled to join the acclaimed Resort. ?There is something so warm, beautiful and genuine about French Polynesia, and it’s represented in every way at this resort – this is paradise indeed.? Volk is joined in Bora Bora by his wife Gisleine and sons Paul-Rubens and Peter.
