Benchmark Hospitality International?, a leading U.S.-based hospitality management company, has appointed Pat Weldon director of sales and marketing for The Heldrich, a Benchmark Hotel located in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Stacy Martin, Benchmark’s general manager for The Heldrich, made the announcement.
“It is with pleasure that I welcome Pat to our hotel,” said Ms. Martin. “She comes equipped with important sales leadership experience, and she has previously worked for conference center hotels in our market, with which she is extremely familiar. We’re glad to have her on our team.”
Pat Weldon was previously director of sales and marketing for the DoubleTree by Hilton, located in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania. She held the same position at the Dolce IBM Palisades and the IBM Learning Center in Palisades, New York. Earlier in her career, Ms. Weldon served in sales positions of increasing responsibility for hotels and conference center in locations from New York to Pennsylvania.
Ms. Weldon is a graduate of Jacksonville University where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree. She is an active member of Meeting Professionals International (MPI), and is a former Board Member of MPI’s Greater New York Chapter. Ms. Weldon is a multiple recipient of the Presidents Circle and Target Achievers Awards. She is relocating to the New Brunswick area.
