Mary Hutchcraft has been appointed Director of Sales and Marketing at the B Resort, located in the Walt Disney World? Resort, scheduled to debut in early 2014. In her new role, Hutchcraft is responsible for driving sales and strategic partnerships for the new lifestyle hotel and latest addition to the growing B Hotels & Resorts? brand.
Hutchcraft brings to the B Resort a depth of experience, having served 18 years in hospitality sales. Most recently, she was task force Director of Sales and Marketing for Hospitality Ventures Management Group at the International Palms Resort and Conference Center, Orlando. While there, she led a nine-person sales team, directing all sales and marketing initiatives for the 642-room property. Prior to that, Hutchcraft served as the Director of Sales and Marketing at the Reunion Wyndham Grand Golf and Spa Resort near Orlando. In this role, she coordinated successful marketing and branding campaigns between the resort and corporate marketing departments and organized cross-training and cross-selling programs for three properties in the Grand Golf Resorts of Florida portfolio. Earlier, Hutchcraft was Director of Sales at The Shores Resort & Spa, Daytona Beach, Fla., where she transitioned the property under new management, coming in under budget, while also achieving all sales goals.

Hutchcraft specializes in selling leisure, corporate, wholesale and group market segments, utilizing firm yield management and revenue maximization principles. She is a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) and Certified Hospitality Sales Professional (CHSP) with significant sales and marketing experience in resort and convention hotels. Among her various professional affiliations, Hutchcraft is a member of the Marketing Committee for Visit Florida, Florida Society of Association Executives, Society of Incentive Travel Executives, MPI Greater Orlando, SITE International, and Meeting Professionals International.
The B Resort will offer 394 newly renovated guest rooms and suites and over 25,000 square feet of dedicated meeting and function space. All rooms will feature The Blissful Bed? by B Hotels & Resorts?, modern appointments and other elements to enhance the guest experience. Located in one of the top family and convention travel destinations in the U.S., the B Resort, just steps from the Downtown Disney? area, will incorporate elements to attract discerning guests including families, featuring inviting designs, bunk beds in select guest rooms and various other amenities and dining options, including culinary experiences by internationally-recognized restaurant group, China Grill Management. B Hotels & Resorts’? distinguished B Signature Elements will be integrated at the Lake Buena Vista resort.
