Coralville Marriott Hotel & Conference Center welcomes new General Manager

The?Coralville Marriott Hotel & Conference Center?is pleased to announce?Bryan Stolz?as its new general manager.

Bryan began his career in 1994 after graduating from the?University of Florida. Beginning as a shift leader at the Marco Island Marriott Resort & Golf Club, he worked his way through the ranks of restaurant management and housekeeping followed by a move to the?Washington, D.C., area. While there, Bryan worked at the Greenbelt Marriott,?Fairview Park Marriott, Washington Marriott at Metro Center and most recently as the director of hotel operations at the Westfields Marriott Washington Dulles.

Through each of these experiences and roles, Bryan said he learned how to connect and partner with others while also applying pressure and accountability to ensure success and positive results.

In his last three executive positions, Bryan succeeded in leading his teams to drive guest satisfaction and improve profitability and associate satisfaction. At the Westfields Marriott, he raised guest satisfaction surveys to 87.3 percent and was part of a team that accomplished a No. 1 ranking in the eastern region for two quarters.

Bryan has been involved in regional initiatives, visiting other Marriott hotels to help them improve performance and boost college recruiting to ensure the worldwide hospitality company has access to the next generation of great leaders.
