The Omni Mount Washington Resort has appointed Laurent G?roli as executive chef. Arriving in Bretton Woods, N.H., with past experience acquired at highly rated properties across the U.S. and Canada, G?roli is responsible for all culinary operations at the Omni Mount Washington Resort, including menu creation for the AAA Four Diamond-rated Main Dining Room, AAA Four Diamond-rated Bretton Arms Inn Dining Room, Stickney’s Restaurant, The Cave, Rosebrook Bar and the Princess Room. G?roli also oversees in-room dining as well as banqueting for meetings and special events.
G?roli holds an impressive resume. He has held positions at AAA Four and Five Diamond-rated hotels and resorts, including executive chef at the historic Brown Hotel in Louisville, Ky.; executive chef at Casa Marina in Key West, Fla.; banquet chef at Ritz-Carlton, St. Louis; banquet chef at The Ritz-Carlton Montreal; restaurant chef at The Ritz-Carlton, St. Thomas; executive sous chef at Ojai Valley Inn and Spa in Ojai, Calif.; and executive chef at Fire Rock Country Club in Scottsdale, Ariz., among others.
A native of Qu?bec, Canada, G?roli earned a Patisserie Degree from the Institut du Tourisme et D’H?tellerie du Qu?bec as well as a Culinary Arts Degree from La Magdeleine Culinary. An avid hunter and outdoor activity enthusiast, G?roli arrived in Bretton Woods with his fianc?e, Katy. Both are excited to explore and enjoy the White Mountain wilderness surrounding the Omni Mount Washington Resort.
