Carlson Rezidor, one of the most dynamic and largest hotel groups worldwide, announces its fifth beach resort at the Black Sea, the Radisson Blu Resort & Spa, Gelendzhik ? one of Russia?s most popular resort destinations. The existing resort with 174 rooms will re-open under the Radisson Blu flag in Q1 2014. An extension by further 100 rooms is planned within the next three years. Russia is a key market for Carlson Rezidor: The group is the leading international hotel operator in Russia/CIS & Baltics, and operates and develops 74 hotels with 18,640 rooms across the region. The Radisson Blu Resort & Spa, Gelendzhik will be the latest addition to Rezidor?s successful resort portfolio in the area now consisting of nine properties in operation and under development ? and growing further.

Besides 174 guest rooms with Radisson Blu signature services such as free high speed internet access, the resort will feature seven restaurants, a bar, a nightclub, extensive leisure facilities, three swimming pools, and conference & meeting facilities for up to 300 delegates. The hotel will undergo renovation during the next months. During the next three years, 100 guest rooms, a further all day dining venue and a ballroom will be added.
