This event is a big highlight in economic and financial circles. The 15th Financium, which wrapped up on Wednesday December 10th in Paris, rewarded Sophie Stabile for her “work supporting the company’s transformation.”
The 15th CFO of the Year trophy shone a spotlight on three pacesetters in the financial world, including Bernard Delpit (Cr?dit Agricole Group CFO) and Pierre-Jean Sivignon (Carrefour Group CFO).

Sophie Stabile accepted her Trophy from Honorary Chairman Gilles Schnepp, the Legrand Group’s CEO, in the presence of 500 financial experts and professionals.

In Chairman and Chief Executive Officer S?bastien Bazin’s words, “this prize perfectly mirrors her determination to contribute to our Group’s in-depth development. We are all familiar with her drive, outstanding professionalism, courage and ability to lead her teams.” He added, “Financial metrics are naturally one of the factors in this reward, but jurors also look for powerful personalities. I have no doubt that Sophie’s personal commitment to essential programs such as WAAG (Women At Accor Generation) or Solidarity Accor, as board member, also caught the Jury’s eye.”
Rewarding remarkable track records
This ceremony is an opportunity to review the big issues that CFOs are tackling, to shed light on a position at the crux of several challenges, and to reward remarkable track records.

CFOs were in very low-profile positions until recently, but have now emerged as stakeholders in company transformation processes. Each year, the finance and management professionals on the jury select candidates based on their submissions, focusing especially on the quality of their track records and of their contributions to their company’s business success.
The jury’s criteria encompassing financial variables as much as the skills revolving around this pivotal management role, Sophie Stabile has been congratulated for her downstream work from map out to implement the strategy.
