A shake-up at Starwood Hotels & Resorts has resulted in new heads of the W, Sheraton, St. Regis and Luxury Collection brands.
The hotel company promoted its global initiatives leader, John Peyton, to senior vice president of brands and shared services, a new position.
Dave Marr, former head of full-service brands for Starwood?s North America region, is now global brand leader for Sheraton and the new Tribute Portfolio.
Former Starwood executive Jim Petrus, who most recently served as chief operating officer of Trump Hotels Collection, has returned to Starwood as global brand leader for the St. Regis luxury badge.
Hoyt Harper, who had led Sheraton, was named global brand leader of Starwood?s Luxury Collection. Anthony Ingham, who had been vice president of Starwood?s luxury and design brands, was tapped as global brand leader of W Hotels.
Starwood interim CEO Adam Aron, said, ?We are investing in our global brand organization to further invigorate innovation, marketing and guest experience across all of our more than 1,200 Starwood hotels around the world.?
