Courtyard by Marriott announces that its first hotel in Serbia, the 114-room Courtyard Belgrade City Center, will open on 7 September. The hotel, which showcases the brand?s new European design, is described as ?dynamic and modern with a striking glass facade that contrasts against the historic city center backdrop.?
Courtyard by Marriott celebrated its milestone 1,000th?hotel in March with the opening of Courtyard Washington Walla Walla, USA.
With the largest global rooms pipeline across the Marriott portfolio, Courtyard expects to have hotels in 45 countries by the end of 2015. With a current presence in all 50 US states, nearly 50 percent of new projects are expected to be outside the brand?s home country in the coming years, including several new hotels planned for Europe by the end of 2016.
Courtyard celebrated its 30th?anniversary in 2013 and remains Marriott?s second largest revenue generator.
