There was all-round positive hotel performance in July, according to occupancy and revPAR anyalysis from consultancy STR Global.
Compared to July 2014, Asia Pacific reported a 2.1 percent increase in occupancy to 70.7 percent, a 1.1 percent rise in average daily rate to US$105.12 and a 3.2 percent increase in revenue per available room to US$74.34.
Europe reported a 5.1 percent increase in occupancy to 77.3 percent, an 8.0 percent increase in average daily rate to ?117.70 and a 13.5 percent increase in revenue per available room to ?90.93.
The Middle East/Africa region reported a 12.1 percent increase in occupancy to 55.1 percent, a 5.3 percent rise in average daily rate to US$159.10 and an 18.1 percent increase in revenue per available room to US$87.69.
The Americas reported a 2.2 percent increase in occupancy to 74.8 percent, a 5.8 percent increase in average daily rate to US$124.78 and an 8.2 percent increase in revenue per available room to US$93.37.
